LAMBORGHINI SUPER TROFEO EVO - BUILT FOR THE TRACK
Lamborghini have always had racing deep in their hearts. Lamborghini street car models bridge luxury with race cars, building them as close to race cars as laws permit. The Super Trofeo on the other hand is built for the track.
The new Lamborghini 2019 Huracan Super Trofeo EVO is a labour of love. It's Lamborghini at it's rawest, displaying it's roots in a powerful track racing car.
There's also a significant reason the Italian brand is building the Huracan Super Trofeo EVO, that Is to celebrate 10 years of the Squadra Corse's Super Trofeo one-make racing series.
To commemorate such a momentous occasion, Lamborghini is releasing their new model as a super limited edition; only 10 units will be made and on the market. Making the Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO an extremely rare collectors item.
So why are they releasing exactly 10 units? Well that's one unit per year since the one-make Super Trofeo series started.
IMPROVED AERODYNAMICS
The limited edition 2019 Super Trofeo EVO is a mean looking machine, the body-kit is in an intimidating black matte carbon fibre, detailed with golden streaks highlighted on the sides, bumper, diffuser and rear fin. The new body-kit has been upgraded for the Evo model, improving aerodynamics, it's form increases downwards force without an increase in drag. It's devilish appearance truly embodies a force to be reckoned with.
Another addition to the Huracan Super Trofeo EVO is a new roof hatch, designed to allow for easier driver extraction in the case of an emergency.
WHAT’S UNDER THE BONNET
The 2019 Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo Evo boasts the same features under the bonnet as it's previous Huracan Super Trofeo, including a 5.2cc V10 engine exploding with 620hp as well as an XTrac sequential gearbox, with an electric actuator, which was developed specifically for the Evo model. It's also equipped with a sophisticated traction control and ABS system, which has 10 settings that can be adjusted from the steering wheels controls, for optimal performance in different track and weather conditions.
